Left to Right: Colton, Cora, Carson, Lisa, Steve and Cody.

Family has always played a large part in the success of Redrock View  Farms. The Carpenter family have owned and operated Redrock View Farms  since 1995. Steve and Lisa moved to the farm in 1989 where they have  raised their four children. Steve has been a dairy farmer his entire  life. Growing up milking cows at both his Grandpa's and his Dad's farms,  his passion for the dairy industry grew. Since attending UW-Madison  Farm and Industry Short Course, Steve has always known he has wanted to  farm and has taken that passion to help expand and grow the family farm.  Lisa has also grown up around livestock. She grew up on her parents',  Larry Lansing and Arden Aylesworth, diversified livestock farm, focusing  mainly on dairy and beef, especially her beloved Simmental cattle which  she showed at both the local and state level.

Steve  and Lisa were married in 1985 and began their long partnership at the  dairy, working hard and giving back to the community, while raising  their children. Cody graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison  with a degree in Dairy Science and worked for Accelerated Genetics. He  has recently come home to work at the dairy full-time. Colton graduated  from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a degree in Animal  Science with an emphasis in Dairy. He has returned to the farm to work  full-time. Carson attends Southwest Technical College in Fennimore, WI  for Ag Business. Carson also operates his own custom round bailing  operation, Carpenter Custom Farming. Cora attends Darlington High School  where she is very active in FFA, 4-H and the community.

The  Carpenters have always believed strongly in supporting local youth  organizations. They have all been very active with the Wiota Happy Hour  4-H Club with Steve and Lisa serving as the leaders for many years. Lisa  has also served in a variety of leadership roles in the county for the  4-H program. Following by their example, Cody and Colton have also  become 4-H leaders in the county. Carson and Cora serve as officers  within the club. Along with their involvement in 4-H, the Carpenters are  also very active in FFA, where Steve and Lisa have been active alumni.  The boys have all won several awards at the state level and Cora is  currently serving as an officer at the chapter level. All four Carpenter  men have served as President for the Darlington FFA Chapter! No  pressure, Cora! The Carpenter's involvement with these youth  organizations have led the family to be very involved with both the  Lafayette County and Wisconsin State Fair, exhibiting their dairy cattle  among many other things.
